Each Cigar Ash Can is painted by hand.
I use a Hydro Dip style of painting, therefore no two cans will ever be the same.
The Cigar Holders are cut out using a state of the art extremely high pressure water jet cutter. Each one has a rare Earth magnet epoxied into the base for adjustability and stability.

I work in the Film Industry as a Mechanical Special Effects Forman with over 35 years experience. One of the best parts of my job, besides blowing things up, is problem-solving. I love being confronted with a task or problem and figuring out a way to solve it. We are always being asked to make the impossible possible.
A Little Note About The Concept
I realized one day when I was hoping to enjoy a cigar away from home that I had no way of collecting and containing the ash of my cigar. I had picked out a nice one, had my lighter and cutter, but something was missing. I didn’t let that stop me. I was going to enjoy this smoke. I lit up and started to enjoy the moment, but after a couple of minutes I realized that the ash needed a place to go. So that was my problem and I’m guessing yours also. The Cigar Ash Can is easy to use. It has two cigar holders located inside to allow you to set your cigar down. The Can has plenty of room to hold all the ash and is made out of steel so you can crush out your cigar right in the can. When finished, simply lay down the magnetized holders and put the lid back on. You’re good to go, leaving no trace behind, out in a puff of smoke.

The end of a lit Cigar. Tobacco grown in soil with an abundance of magnesium will exhibit a bright, white ash. Too much magnesium will reveal a flaky ash. If the soil is affected by a lack of nutrients, a black ash is revealed. It’s best to the let the ash develop a bit on the end of a cigar before gently tapping it off. The optimal hue is considered to be white, as it reflects large deposits of calcium content in the soil where the cigar tobacco was grown. Sometimes the ash will be light grey with white streaks, which is also desirable.
